To Twinkle and Twinkie, my sisters-at-heart

Dear Twinkle and Twinkie,

First, I'm really sorry for your loss. Knowing how tightly knit your family is, I can only imagine the grief you're both going through. I'm sure eventually that grief will fade, but your memories of him won't. He's in a better place now.

Second, despite what happened, I hope you'll both still find some happiness on your birthday. Your Lolo would want that. You have your wonderful husbands and darling daughters with you. Never forget how blessed you both are.

Sibling/Cousins Bonding

My baby boy is just an only child. From his dad's family, he still has no cousin and from mine's he only has one first cousin.

We had a gathering from my side of the family since my great-grandfather visited from the States. This was the first time JT, 4 months old, met his cousin Sam, 10 months old .After lunch, while the family was having a chat, baby Sam started showing off and making baby noises, from cooes to shrieks. Not to be left behind, JT started babbling and shrieking, too. These earned laughter from all of us. And the more we laughed, the noisier they became as if they knew how cute we thought they were.

I just had to include these pictures. Temple Jeanina, or TJ, is JT's kinakapatid. Not only that, her mom, Twinkle, and aunt, Twinkie, are like sisters to me, so I consider TJ as JT's adoptive sister :) (Pati rin si Mia, siyempre, pero hindi pa sila nagkikita ni JT. Sana by 2010 :D)
